D-D Reef-Pro 1800 Tank & Cabinet

The D-D Reef-Pro 1800 is a large, premium marine aquarium system designed to provide the space and flexibility needed for an impressive reef setup. Its wide proportions create a striking viewing area while still allowing practical access for aquascaping, coral placement and maintenance.

Aquarium Features

The 180 × 60 × 56cm display aquarium is manufactured from 19mm low-iron, high-clarity glass with polished edges and a clean, braceless design.

A central black-glass ‘invisible’ weir blends into the rear of the aquarium, while the removable D-D UltraFlow weir comb allows around 30–50% more water flow than a conventional weir comb. The twin-pipe overflow system uses larger 40mm downpipes with a gate valve for precise adjustment and quiet running.

The 25mm return pipe splits into two outlets to distribute flow across the aquarium, with both wide outlet and random-flow generator nozzles supplied.

Cabinet Features

The heavy-duty 180 × 60 × 92cm cabinet is built in the UK and uses 36mm structural sections for strength and rigidity.

The extra internal height provides plenty of room for larger filtration equipment, while quick-release folding doors make maintenance easier. Adjustable soft-close hinges, heavy-duty levelling feet and ventilation throughout the sump and equipment areas are also included.

A separate dry equipment cupboard with a movable shelf provides dedicated storage for electrical equipment and accessories.

Sump Features

The Reef-Pro 1800 includes a 71-litre running-volume sump with large multi-use chambers suitable for a protein skimmer, reactors, additional equipment or a refugium. A separate return-pump chamber completes the filtration layout.

The sump is supplied ClariSea-ready as standard, with an optional removable twin filter-sock section and silencing plate available when ordering.

Unlike the smaller Reef-Pro models, the 1800 includes a separate 48-litre freshwater top-up reservoir positioned alongside the sump.
