D-D Aqua-Pro Reef Peninsula 1500 Tank & Framed Cabinet

The D-D Aqua-Pro Reef Peninsula 1500 is a premium sump-based marine aquarium designed to create a dramatic reef display that can be viewed from multiple sides. Its 150cm length and extra-deep 75cm width provide excellent space for a central aquascape, making it ideal for use as a room divider or standout feature within the home.

Aquarium Features

The 150 × 75 × 56cm display aquarium is manufactured from ultra-clear, low-iron glass with polished edges, black silicone joints and a clean, braceless design.

A central black-glass ‘invisible’ weir is positioned at one end of the aquarium, helping to maintain a clear view from three sides. The removable D-D UltraFlow weir comb allows increased water flow, while the twin-pipe overflow system and gate valve provide quiet, precisely controlled operation.

The aquarium also includes a black vinyl background at the weir end, pre-fitted base mat and twin directional return outlets supplied with flare nozzle and random-flow generator options.

Cabinet Features

The matching cabinet is manufactured in the UK and supplied fully assembled. Its sleek peninsula design features push-to-open doors on one side with matching faux doors on the opposite side, creating a balanced appearance when the aquarium is viewed from either side.

A large opening at the end of the cabinet provides ventilation and access for pipework and cables, while quick-release doors and adjustable soft-close hinges make maintenance access straightforward.

AquaFrame Features

The Peninsula 1500 is supplied with D-D’s AquaFrame cabinet, built around a corrosion-resistant aircraft-grade aluminium frame with custom stainless-steel brackets and industrial-strength fittings.

The cabinet includes adjustable feet for accurate levelling, a fully waterproof baseboard and a slide-out internal divider for greater flexibility when arranging filtration equipment. The outer cabinet panels can also be changed independently, allowing the finish to be updated without replacing the complete frame.

Sump Features

The Aqua-Pro Reef Peninsula 1500 includes a 6mm glass, multi-chamber sump designed to provide plenty of flexible space for reef filtration equipment.

A large pre-filter/skimmer chamber is followed by a second equipment or refugium chamber, allowing equipment such as a protein skimmer, media reactors or calcium reactor to be positioned to suit your setup. A dedicated return-pump chamber sits alongside the integrated freshwater top-up reservoir.

The sump is ClariSea SK3000 and SK5000-ready and can also be ordered with a removable filter-sock arrangement.
